Another wedding from the super fabulous Tine Hoffman….

Sara & Dave are absolutely adorable. I have never met a man more overwhelmed with love than Dave. To say it was an emotional ceremony would be an understatement. It was so fun working with these guys because they were so eager to have fun and be playful when it came to their wedding.

Sara is my first bride in a short dress. I was stoked about this because there’s just something undeniably fun about a short wedding dress. There was an element of 60’s glamour with the pumps, wide head band, flipped hair, etc. so for her flowers I tried to keep that same element of retro-glam.

For Sara, I used candy pink ranunculus and green hypericum berries to focus on the round lines of the flowers to create a girly and mod bouquet. Dave’s boutonniere followed suit using buds and berries tied with ribbon.

Centerpieces consisted of submerged flowers in mixed vases with floating candles. The different flowers included pink and green cymbidium orchids, tulips, calla lilies and fresh limes. This simple arrangement is great for allowing the elegant lines of the flowers to really take center stage. The water magnifies the intricate details of each bloom and allows candlelight to flicker and bounce to create wonderful ambiance at your tables.
